Happy belated New Year, everyone! I hope you are all doing well and that you had a wonderful holiday season.
I have to admit that holidays can overwhelm me. There’s more activity than normal, much more planning, and all the stuff that goes along with it just drain my introverted batteries. By New Year’s day, I’m usually dragging. This year has been no exception. In fact, I got my first round of edits for The Girl With Stars In Her Eyes just as I was catching my breath from the end of the year festivities. I’m glad to say they are finished and sent back. Now I await the next round.
As I wait for them to come, I’m busy trying to get words down for the second book, The Girl With Fire In Her Veins. If you follow me on Facebook, you may have seen that I researched one detail, medieval bridges, for an hour the other day for only four simple sentences. I do love to research details to put in my books. Even though it’s a fantasy and has no direct relation to the real world, I do have the time and place that I base my story off of which is the 1800s England. So, I wanted to be sure that particular piece of the story would match to the times. As some of my commenters on FB noted, hopefully, I’ll pass by that bridge again.
I’m getting excited for the release of Tambrynn’s story. Soon I will be having a cover reveal and then eventually in April it will be released. I will be building a launch team in the meantime as well. I’m already working on book signings and public appearances, so if that’s something you’re interested in, please keep checking back as I drop details when they happen.
My best to everyone here for this next year. Stay safe and healthy until we meet again.
